Isabel Steiner Karkau papers and photographs, 1938-1980.

Contains correspondence, original military records, the death certificate for her husband, and her parents' obituaries. Photographs include WASP training, officer's training at Orlando, Fla. and at base assignments at Love Field and Victorville Army Air Base. Other photographs depict Karkau with her family and friends (1944-1989), dogs, and the Stanford Flying Club (1938). Miscellaneous items include awards, pedigrees of her dogs, and a brief biographical sketch of Karkau by WASP friend, Eleanor Wortz.
